Cleaning method

Can waterless cleaning really clean effectively?

Yes, when the cleaning method matches the contamination. Most daily facility dirt is dry: dust, fine particles, sand, hair, fibres and light debris. Star60 is built around collecting and containing that material without making the floor wet.

Physical collection first

Dry daily contamination is lifted and contained through brush contact, vacuum support and controlled debris collection.

Microfibre contact

Dual microfibre main brushes support dust pickup, hard-floor wiping and light dry conditioning during routine work.

HEPA filtration

High-efficiency filtration helps contain fine particles instead of simply moving visible dust around the floor.

Autonomous repeatability

Navigation, scheduled cleaning and automatic recharging make routine floor care repeatable without constant manual pushing.

On carpets, Star60 supports sweeping, vacuuming and particle collection. On hard floors, it adds microfibre wiping and light conditioning. It is not positioned as a replacement for every deep-cleaning process.

More water does not automatically mean a cleaner floor.

Wet scrubbing can be valuable for deep cleaning, sticky residues and heavy contamination. But its result depends on the full system, not water alone.

In dusty environments, unnecessary wet cleaning can also turn dry particles into slurry. That is why PolarX keeps daily routine care dry and reserves wet work for the tasks that truly need it.

Star60 can help collect small incidental spills of clean water within rated pickup capability as it passes, reducing the wet area until staff inspect and treat the site.

What this helps with

What it is not for

Hazardous liquids, chemicals, oils, flooding or large-volume spill recovery. Exact pickup volume should be published only after controlled testing.

No. PolarX is designed to automate routine repetitive floor care so staff can focus on inspection, exceptions, deep cleaning and higher-value cleaning tasks.

Is 95/5 a guaranteed measured result?+

No. The 95/5 concept is an operating principle, not a guaranteed statistic. The exact split varies by facility, floor type, contamination profile and cleaning standard.

Can Star60 clean every type of dirt?+

No. Star60 is best suited to routine waterless floor care such as dry dust, grit, hair, light debris and light surface marks. Oil, sticky residue, hazardous material and deep stains still need targeted treatment.

Can Star60 pick up liquid?+

Star60 can help with small incidental clean-water spills within tested pickup capability, but it is not intended for chemicals, oils, hazardous liquids, flooding or large-volume spill recovery.

Does water damage every floor?+

No. The risk comes from unnecessary water, excess moisture, unsuitable chemicals, abrasive residues or incomplete recovery. The point is to use water where it is needed, not as the default for every daily task.
