What does a robotic floor sweeper do?
A robotic floor sweeper is an autonomous machine that removes dry contamination from floors: dust, sand, gravel, wood chips, metal shards, packaging debris and fine particles. Unlike a robotic floor scrubber, it does not dispense water or detergent, so there are no tanks to fill, no wastewater to drain and no squeegees to maintain. Floors stay dry and usable throughout cleaning.
In industrial environments, this matters. Warehouses and factories generate dry debris continuously, and applying water to dusty floors can turn dry particles into slurry. Star50 uses rotating brushes, a 200W brushless vacuum and dual HEPA filtration to sweep and collect debris into a 30L dustbin, covering up to 1,750 square metres per hour with a 333mm profile that reaches under racking and equipment.
