Do I need a site assessment or demonstration before purchasing?+

A site assessment or demonstration is recommended. Floor material, surface condition, obstacles, traffic, thresholds, ramps, cleaning area and contamination type can all affect product suitability and operating performance. Testing the robot in the intended environment provides a more reliable basis for product selection and ROI planning.

How much floor area can one PolarX robot clean?+

Can one robot clean multiple floors or use lifts?+

Cleaning Capability & Limitations

Can PolarX remove oil, grease or sticky stains?+

Can PolarX collect liquids or clean spills?+

PolarX robots are not general-purpose spill-response machines. They should not be used for chemicals, oils, hazardous liquids, flooding or unidentified spills. Small incidental amounts of clean water should only be collected where the relevant model and configuration have a confirmed liquid-pickup capability. Facility spill-response procedures still apply.

Can PolarX clean every edge, corner and obstructed area?+

No autonomous robot should be expected to reach every corner or tightly obstructed area. PolarX can reduce repetitive large-area cleaning and support edge cleaning where access allows, while staff remain responsible for inaccessible areas, detailed cleaning and exceptions.

What does waterless polishing mean?+

Waterless polishing refers to mechanical contact that supports routine appearance maintenance and light floor conditioning without a conventional wet-scrubbing process. It does not mean that the robot can restore damaged finishes, remove deep stains or replace specialist floor restoration and polishing services.

Does HEPA filtration mean the complete robot has a whole-machine HEPA claim?+

PolarX products may use HEPA-grade filter media depending on the model and configuration. Filter-media performance should not be interpreted as a complete-robot filtration claim or a guaranteed whole-machine filtration efficiency. Overall filtration performance also depends on correct installation, sealing, maintenance and control of bypass airflow.

Can PolarX operate in hazardous or explosive environments?+

PolarX should not be represented as suitable for explosive atmospheres, combustible-dust zones or hazardous-material collection unless the specific product configuration has the required specialist assessment and formal documentation. Deployment, Operation & Maintenance

What happens during a PolarX deployment?+

A typical deployment may include site review, mapping, cleaning-zone setup, route configuration, charging-station placement, operator training and initial performance checks. The exact process depends on the facility, network requirements and level of integration required.

What happens if the facility layout changes?+

Maps, cleaning zones or routes may need to be updated when racking, furniture, equipment or access conditions change substantially. Minor temporary obstacles may be handled during normal navigation, but permanent layout changes should be reviewed to maintain reliable coverage.

Can PolarX operate around people, forklifts and moving equipment?+

What is HybridSense™ on Star50?+

HybridSense™ allows an operator to move naturally between autonomous and manual cleaning. The operator can use the handle to guide Star50 through a complex work area and then return it to a valid mapped location. Star50 can re-establish its position and continue the configured autonomous workflow, reducing the need for remote-control operation.
