What does a robotic floor sweeper do?
A robotic floor sweeper is an autonomous machine that removes dry contamination from floors: dust, sand, gravel, wood chips, metal shards, packaging debris and fine particles. Unlike a robotic floor scrubber, it does not dispense water or detergent, so there are no tanks to fill, no wastewater to drain and no squeegees to maintain. Floors stay dry and usable throughout cleaning.
In industrial environments, this matters. Warehouses and factories generate dry debris continuously, and applying water to dusty floors can turn dry particles into slurry. Built to Work Around People and Forklifts
Star50 navigates with high-precision LiDAR, backed by physical bumper sensors for contact detection. A directed airflow keeps dust off the LiDAR window, helping navigation stay stable in dusty aisles. The drivetrain includes anti-slip hill hold and an automatic brake.
