Commercial carpet cleaning robot FAQ
What pile height can it handle?+
It is designed for low-pile commercial carpet which is carpet tile, loop pile and low cut pile typically under about 8 mm. Deeper cut pile should be site-assessed. Plush or shag carpet is not suitable.
Can it run while the building is occupied?+
Yes, Star60 is waterless and instant-dry, with low-noise operation, and uses LiDAR plus depth cameras to navigate around people, trolleys and furniture. Many sites run it during trading or office hours.
Does it move between carpet and hard floor?+
Yes, within one cleaning run. On hard floors such as PVC, tile, stone and timber the same brush system sweeps, vacuums and conditions the surface.
What do we have to do each day?+
Empty the 7 L dust bin or replace the 3 L bag when the app reports it is full and keep the charging dock clear. Everything else is scheduled.
What happens if it breaks down?+
Remote diagnostics through the app first and if a technician is needed, service is coordinated from Melbourne or through a local PolarX partner. Full warranty is 24 months and the battery is covered for 36 months. Ask us for the written service-level terms for your region.
