Founder: Wayne Zhang
PolarX Robotics was founded by Wayne Zhang, who has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
Before founding PolarX, Wayne worked extensively across commercial cleaning equipment, distributor networks, market development and cleaning robot deployment. His experience gave him a clear understanding of what the cleaning industry really needs: robots that can operate reliably in real environments, be accepted by cleaning teams, be easy for distributors to support and deliver real value to customers.

2017-2024
Wayne founded Aoting Robotics and led work across cleaning robot product development, real-world deployment, distributor cooperation and overseas market expansion.
2024
In 2024, Wayne completed his exit from Aoting Robotics and founded PolarX Robotics. For Wayne, PolarX is not a restart from zero. It is a more focused, practical and clear-minded new chapter.

Industry Recognition Before PolarX
Before PolarX was founded, Wayne and his core team were deeply involved in commercial cleaning robot projects in Australia. One early Australian project involving Wayne and his team received recognition through the INCLEAN Excellence Awards 2023 "Innovation - Equipment Large".

Wayne Zhang founded Aoting Robotics as the core founder and majority shareholder, beginning his first dedicated entrepreneurial journey in commercial cleaning robotics.
2017-2024
Wayne led the team through product development, real-world deployment, distributor cooperation, market validation and overseas project promotion.
2023
An early Australian commercial cleaning robot project involving Wayne and his core team received recognition through the INCLEAN Excellence Awards 2023 "Innovation - Equipment Large".
2024
Wayne completed his exit from Aoting Robotics and founded PolarX Robotics, beginning a new chapter focused on waterless commercial cleaning robots.
2025-2026
PolarX completed development, testing and small-batch preparation of the Star series, gradually entering real market validation and delivery.

PolarX participated in Interclean Amsterdam and began building partnerships across Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
